Felicia Suzanne’s
April 2025
The twenty year life span of Felicia Suzanne’s restaurant is a testament to the hard work and loyalty to it’s service and menu. This new location is the second life of Felicia Suzanne’s bringing those years of experience to reality. As a nod to the Southern Creole cuisine Felicia is know for, gentle cues in color scheme, details and patterns speak to the style of New Orleans reimagined with a sleek, modern feel.
The bar, dining and lounge areas will all have a distinct but unifying identity creating a sense of discovery as guests meander through the spaces. Elements such as warm backlit glowing light, heavily veined stone, painted striped millwork, pecky cypress, high gloss lacquer, cozy booths and banquettes, velvet drapery and textured glass will be found throughout.
Guests enter from South Main street into a drapery vestibule and first see the monolithic stone counter that is edge lit from the bottom. The small lounge is privy to the bar and dining action with visibility to the foot traffic on South Main. The bar and bar booths face a modern book matched stone, brass and mirrored bar and back bar with full height wine coolers and gorgeous glassware shelving. The open bar plan feels more like a welcoming home island than a bar. The round booths are comfortable for cocktails or dinner. The patrons have full view of the activity but they are tucked into a plush surround of millwork and upholstery.
Movable wall millwork and mirror partitions are tucked into a millwork surround separating the event dining from the bar and front dining. When they are closed there is a pivot door that maintains accessibility for service and access. From the front dining room the doors will appear like a beautiful millwork backdrop to the space. The ceiling in the event dining is a grid of pecky cypress and lighting making this room feel special and unique. Banquettes on either side of the room provide flexibility for regular dining service or events.
The back patio will feature the BKS (Best Kept Secret) Bar and garden lounge with a full height brick wall enclosure, gas lanterns, built-in planters, checkered tile floor, built-in banquette seating and French style woven bistro lounge furniture. Small patio guest groups can cluster together in one section or expand to two or three sections of seating giving the patio flexibility for small or larger parties. Glass and metal doors open to the moody and plush Bubble Lounge and Dining which features an intimate bar seating for five with lounge banquette seating for dining. The brass accents warmly contrast the plush upholsteries and tented fabric ceiling.
The front patio dining will be surrounded by potted plants to provide a green backdrop for cheerful furnishings and upholsteries. A perfect stop for a market sandwich or Sunday brunch.
